Introduction:
Egra Sarada Shashi Bhusan College is always ready to provide equal scope and opportunities to the students belonging to all communities of the society. Keeping in compliance with such a vision and mission, the College has set up the Minority Cell on the basis of the meeting of the G.B. dated 29.02.2022. The primary purpose of constitution of this cell is to cater education to all sections of students irrespective of caste, creed, community status etc. with equal scope and opportunities. Minority Cell of Egra Sarada Shashi Bhusan College acts with sole purpose to empower the students of minority communities of the college. Following the moto ‘Education for All’, the cell of the College is very much keen to provide assistance to the educational and cultural needs of the students of minority communities studying at the college.
Objectives:
- To provide equal opportunity to all the learners belonging to minority communities.
- To make the students of minority communities aware of various scholarships sanctioned by the State Govt. as well as UGC and the Central Govt.
- To ensure a conducive environment within the campus where such students feel safe and secure.
- To ensure protection and reservation for all such students as provided by the Constitution of India as well as various policies taken by the State Govt. from time to time.
- To provide prompt counseling for any kind of emotional / sentimental emergencies arising out of any event in the campus.
