Internal Complaints Committee (ICC)

Introduction: Egra Sarada Shashi Bhusan College has formed its Internal Complaints Committee under Sub-regulation (1) of regulation 4 of UGC Regulation vide the decision of the meeting of the G.B. dated 29/09/2021. It has been resolved in the meeting that the tenure of ICC will be of three years. The said committee will investigate as well as recommend actions on acts of sexual harassment of any kind against any individual within the campus. It has also been resolved that the said committee is to abide by UGC regulations (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal of sexual harassment of women employees and students in HEI) 2015 and its amendments to be made from time to time. The primary duty of the committee is to take all necessary steps to promote and develop a conducive academic environment and to assure respect and dignity of all the stakeholders within the college campus. It always falls within the priority of Egra Sarada Shashi Bhusan College to ensure all sorts of gender justice within the campus.
