Overview of Club:

A.J.C. Bose Eco club is a grandstand on which we got the knowledge about adjacent environment. The aims of the Eco Club in a group who works to contribute to improving environmental awareness ambience. This Club offer programs and activities to encourage among students, teachers and staffs to reduce pollution, plant trees, and awareness etc.

Eco club is a voluntary group which promotes the participation of students in learning about, and improving their environment conditions. Eco- club is a means by which students and youth can organize themselves to learn more and this issue, and also take action to improve their immediate environment problems. Our faculty and staff got a wonderful opportunity to create awareness, build attitudes and help students take up activities in regional scale. Different programme has been taken inside the class room as well as outside of the college campus frequently.

Eco club can thus help to extend boundaries and scope of the formal educational system encouraging creativity, and improving students for constructive action for society. Eco- club activities can extended help the teacher to meet the objectives of environmental education among the student’s community, which are to create awareness and sensitivity among individuals and social groups to the total environment outside the college campus and its relative problems.

It helps to build attitudes at individuals and social groups level acquire a set of values and feelings of concern for environment, and the motivation for actively participating in environmental improvement and protection.

A.J.C Bose Eco Club play an important role in creating environmental awareness amongst the future generation of our students and local community.

Objectives of the Eco-Club :

1. Understanding our adjacent environment and related community
2. Relation builds up with in local school students at Primary, Secondary level through educational matter.
3. Awareness on Tropical Cyclone, local Bio-diversity, cost effect benefit for agriculture, social well-being etc.
4. Syllabus oriented problem solve for different subjects at Secondary and Higher Secondary level.
5. The program also emphasized the use of local resources and the need for self-help.
6. Implementation of new/ innovative ideas among the student community.
7. Awareness on Plantation programme etc.

Activity:
