Biography

Sujit Kumar Das is an academic and researcher serving as a State Aided College Teacher (SACT-I) in the Department of Mathematics at Egra Sarada Shashi Bhusan College, West Bengal. He brings over a decade of higher education teaching experience, alongside active involvement in institutional seminars and academic society administration. He holds an M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics and a B.Ed. from Vidyasagar University. A dedicated scholar, he has consistently demonstrated academic excellence by qualifying national-level examinations, including the CSIR-UGC NET (AIR-62 in June 2026; AIR-86 in December 2018), GATE, and WB-SET. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Mathematics at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Agartala. His research focuses primarily on Operations Research within the Circular Economy, Sustainable Supply Chain Management, Cryptography, and Fourier Analysis. Mr. Das has presented his work at prominent international forums—including the Operational Research Society of India (ORSI) conference at IIT Bombay and Hokudai University in Japan—and published in peer-reviewed international journals. Beyond research and teaching, he serves as a National Member and Technical Secretary for the Bengal Academic Society for Interactive Sciences (BASIS).
