Soutik Kumar Das Mahapatra has served as a State Aided College Teacher-II (SACT-II) in the Geography Department at Egra SSB College, Purba Medinipur, since August 2010. He holds a Master of Arts in Geography and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. His primary area of expertise is Urban Geography, with additional academic interests in Soil Geography and Population Geography. Throughout his teaching career, he has consistently instructed undergraduate courses, including Geomorphology, Regional Planning and Development, Environmental Geography, and Disaster Management. In addition to his teaching duties, he actively participates in academic activities, presenting research papers and attending various state, national, and international seminars and conferences. He is dedicated to providing high-quality geographical education and promoting academic excellence among students.
