Biography

Dr. Dipak Kumar Hazra is presently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics, Egra S.S.B College, Egra , Purba Medinipur, W.B. Formerly, he served as an  Assistant Professor in the  Department of Physics, Uluberia College, Howrah from March, 2015 to April, 2022. He completed his M.Sc. and Ph.D. (Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science) from Jadavpur University, Kolkata. He also involved in teaching at the Post Graduate Department of Mathematics, Uluberia College under Calcutta University more than two years.  One PG student has completed M.Sc. final year project so far under his guidance at Egra SSB College under Vidyasagar University. He is a life member of Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science and Indian Crystallographic Association (ICA). Dr. Hazra has attended many International and National level seminars/workshops and conferences in India. His area of research interest include Chemical crystallography; Crystal Engineering; Accurate Charge density study; Ab-initio structure determination from X-ray powder diffraction data; Rietveld Refinement; Qualitative and quantitative phase analysis and Microstructural analysis; Computational chemistry, DFT study. He has published more than twenty five research article in the national and international journal of repute. Currently two research scholar is working under his supervision in Coastal Env. Studies  Research Centre  of Egra S.S.B College affiliated to Vidyasagar University.
